Loading Poser 6 content Into DAZ Studio

  • DAZ Studio and Poser 6

Introduction

Ok when it asks for the .pmd file, find it, it's in the character folder, it will recognise it. Then if it asks if you would like to find the OBJ/.obz file hit Skip, then reimport the scene, then when it asks you to find the .pmd file again, find it and then DAZ Studio will not ask for the obj file the second time and the OBJ file will load automatically.

Step 1 - Import your file

Load your Poser 6 document.

Step 2 - Find the .pmd file.

It well ask you to find the .pmd file fo your character. Click Locate.

Step 3 - Load the .pmd

Open the .pmd file. After you find it. It's in the Poser 6 Character folder in the Runtimelibraries folder.

Step 4 - You are done.

You're finished importing your document.

Step 5 - Now render your scene.

This is the finished rendered Poser 6 scene in DAZ Studio
