I've always drawn..as a kid my room was filled with posters that I had done of Star Wars as well as various comic strip characters. I found that I had a knack for copying what I saw, but never built on that talent. When in college, I started making comic book posters for myself and others and figured that I would show my work to editors at the Chicago comic-cons. Tried to get a job with Marvel, DC, but my backgrounds stunk and they rightfully turned me away. This was around the time when Image was starting up and everyone was trying to be a comicbook artist, so I decided to do my own thing. I mastered charcoal on my own and blew my later art teachers away with my style...I ended up teaching them and some of the class. I became bored with black and white after a while and moved into acrylics and then oils. I mastered that on my own and then took some classes to see what they knew. That wasn't much more. So, now I've turned to digital art to expand my horizons and as a tool to create more masterpieces on canvas - poser is much cheaper than hiring models. I have paintings in homes and businesses across the country and have done a few murals in schools.
As a writer, I dabbled in fan fiction for a few years, and I was co-creator and editor of the largest internet crossover story in history - Star Trek: Unity -
