I am Kay Patterson aka Blurtsmum, I live in North Yorkshire in the UK. I started using digital art as a result of getting a free version of Bryce on a PC magazine. I was at that time plagued with images in my mind and a story I felt I must illustrate. When I used Bryce and then linked through to the Daz3d site I realised that I had actually found the tools that would allow me to illustrate to a level that would satisfy my latent artistic requirements.
I am still in the early stages of learning digital CG art, 2d and 3d but I do hope to press on and become a commercial artist and I still have a story to tell - the one that brought me here in the first place. I am documenting the development of that at www.therailwaychild.com
I now use regularly Daz Studio, Carrara 6, Vue 6, Poser 7, Hexagon and Painter X.
